Roy mainly shoes dressage and reining horses up to the highest international level. Roy is farrier at the stables of triple Olympic champion Anky van Grunsven, multiple reining champion Rieky Young and Olympic dressage riders Edward Gal en Hans Peter Minderhoud.

Roy's working area extends till the US. His work varies from shoeing horses till giving seminars and training for colleague farriers.
