About Roy

Since 1997 Roy den Bieman (1977) is a certificated farrier. From an early age, Roy had a love for horses. His grand father already had the love for horses and founded the world famous company Bieman de Haas, ie BR.

Roy has competed shows in the disciplines dressage, jumping and SGW (current eventing). But there was more: Roy's hobby was participating in the group 'Future Guys'. The Future Guys do shows with very spectacular stunts.

Roy graduated in 1997 at the Dutch school NHB Deurne for his study farriery. He did his practicals with Wim Diks and Rob Renirie. For years Rob Renirie has been the team farrier for The Netherlands.

Nowadays Roy is farrier at many international dressage, jumping and reining stables in The Netherlands and other countries, including the USA. Also, Roy gives lectures to horseowners, grooms and other farriers. Very often Roy teaches a trainee who supports Roy during his daily work.
